What we collect

• Account info you provide: name, email, and password (stored securely, hashed — we never see your plain-text password).
• Your chat messages and any images you upload, so we can generate replies and let you revisit past conversations.
• Optional "memory" notes — small details you've shared that KS Chat uses to personalize replies. You can view or clear these anytime, or turn memory off entirely, in Settings.
• If you use Google Sign-In: your name and email from your Google account (we never see your Google password).
• Basic technical info: your IP address and browser/device type, used only for account security (like showing your active sessions) and keeping the service reliable.

How we use it

Solely to operate and improve KS Chat — generating responses, keeping your chat history, personalizing replies (if memory is on), and keeping your account secure. We do not sell your data.

AI-generated content

Replies are generated by AI and can be wrong or inappropriate. Under every reply there is a flag button — use it to report a reply as harmful, wrong or other; reports are reviewed by the KickSick team. Do not rely on replies for medical, legal or financial decisions.

Third parties

To generate responses, your messages are sent to third-party AI providers (such as Google, OpenAI, and others) strictly to produce a reply. These providers process the message but are not used by us for advertising or sold onward.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in (including an optional "remember me" cookie so you don't have to log in repeatedly) and to remember basic preferences like your theme. We don't use third-party advertising trackers.

Your controls

• Turn memory on/off, or clear it entirely, anytime in Settings.
• View and log out any device signed into your account.
• Delete your account entirely, which removes your chats, images, notes, and memory permanently — in Settings, or at delete-account page.
• Report any reply with the flag button under it.

Data security

Passwords are hashed, not stored in plain text. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, though no system can guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

KS Chat is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under that age.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as KS Chat evolves. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
